These great skis from Dynastar are the perfect blend of performance and versatility. Thanks to the shape, construction, and profile, the Dynastar M-Pro 90 women’s skis can handle a huge variety of terrain and snow conditions without ever having to blink or think. We really like these types of skis here because they’re versatile enough for a lot of different skiers. The main thing separating these skis from the rest of the ∼90 mm underfoot skis is the build. Dynastar has made some cool innovations with the construction of these skis, and it all starts with the hybrid core. Featuring a central chord of poplar wood, the ski features a frame of polyurethane material. This type of PU is normally found in the construction of 120-flex ski boots, so it’s an interesting way of building skis to be sure. It makes the ski smooth, stable, and damp no matter what the conditions or terrain. Additionally, Dynastar uses their Rocket Frame Ti laminate on top of the core to really beef up the performance of the ski. With full-width metal underfoot, the frame tapers in towards the tip and extends out towards the tail. This results in a playful and more flexible forebody of the ski with a strong underfoot and back-end of the ski. Excellent edge grip off the tail gives you a ton of energy and rebound. Skiers looking to spend a fair amount of time on-trail but still have that versatility for off-piste adventures will love the overall well-rounded nature of the Dynastar M-Pro 90 women’s skis.
