The Atomic 88 Ti skis are the narrowest offering in the Maverick line up. With a waist width of 88-millimeters underfoot, the 88 Ti has the least amount of rocker in its shape and the most torsional stiffness compared to the 95 and 100 Maverick models. This makes the ski the best pure carver out of the line, making it an ideal ski for areas that encounter firm snow a lot of time and need a ski that is damp, precise and can hold a good edge. But this ski is not a one tick pony and has far more all-mountain capabilities than you might think. It’s very quick edge to edge, so it excels in bumps and steeps, and is also very capable off trail in tight trees and a Vermont type storm of 2-4 inches. What’s most impressive about the Maverick 88 Ti is that it is so light for a ski with dual sheets of metal in it. Weighing in at 1800 grams, these skis have a feather light swing weight, and really makes them engage in and out of turns so easily. With the Atomic Maverick 88 Ti skis, you’ll me making some sweet-shaped turns on the groomers while still being able to rip through a myriad of front side conditions in between storms.
