The Head Kore 87 skis are the narrowest offering in the Kore line up, making the Kore 87 the quickest, and most on-trail oriented of the Kore skis. For mid-west or New England skiers, this is a fantastic choice for a daily driver ski, as it’s light, stiff, and grippy for a variety of conditions and terrain. At 87-millimeters underfoot, is a great width for the groomers, bumps and trees. The Kore 87 is a great all-mountain tool for both front side and backside skiing. The Kore 87 gets a rounded upper sheet of carbon that adds a third dimension to the laminate. This gives the ski a bunch more energy and liveliness. Graphene also adds another level of dampening to the ski, allowing advanced and expert skiers a great platform to stand on and a wonderful snap out of the back of the turn. The entire Kore series is noticeably light, powerful and stiff and the 87 shares these same characteristics. As a front side carving ski, you will get great edge grip and dampness and torsional rigidly. But skiers take note, this ski requires an advanced pilot to make them perform to their abilities. This ski means business. If you are an advanced or expert skier that likes a stiff but light ski to handle everything on the front side as well as explore natural snow terrain a bit, then the Head Kore 87 Skis are just the right fit for you.
