The K2 Reckoner 102 Skis are made for freeriders and all-mountain skiers alike who are looking for a high-performance, wider bodied twin tip. The Reckoner 102 uses a strategically laminated blend of Aspen and Fir to provide power where it’s needed while maintaining a snappy and energetic flex. Incorporated into the design of the core is K2’s Spectral Braid technology, a Carbon fiber weave that dictates the flex profile of specific segments of the ski. The weave is looser in the tip and tail allowing for more playfulness and ease of maneuverability. The weave underfoot is tighter which adds a great deal of stability and torsional stiffness in that portion of the ski for solid edge hold on firm snow. This flex profile overall provides the opportunity to experiment with different turn shapes as you can get the ski to flex into a shorter radius turn, or you can release the edge for a more smeared style of turn. This makes the ski very agile and easy to ski in technical terrain as well as in softer snow. Its twin tip shape in combination with a twin rocker profile are great for skiers looking for a wider park ski or all-mountain freestyle ski that they can use to take their tricks to natural terrain. From powder to the park and everywhere in between, the K2 Reckoner 102 Skis will deliver thanks to its freestyle influence.
