The Rossignol Experience 86 Ti Open Skis are the widest offering in Rossignol’s Experience line up, coming in at 86-millimeters underfoot. What the Experience line in general is known for over the past decade is its excellent carving performance, and the 86 Ti Open delivers on this reputation in spades. With tremendous edge grip, particularly on firm snow, this ski is smooth, powerful and precise. This is in large part due to the double sheets of Titanium. One that runs just about the full length of the ski through the core, while the other layer above the core is full width underfoot, but tapers at the tips and tails. With a long effective edge from tip to tail, they can lock you into a carve, but release quickly so you can you can make a variety of turn shapes, either short or long. But the Experience 86 Ti is not just for groomers, it’s highly versatile for a bevy of conditions. For having metal in tis build, it still feels very light underfoot with great swing weight, so its surprisingly good in the bumps. This is not a characteristic that you would normally find with skis with metal in them, so that really is a testament to their versatility. Whatever your front side application will be, the Rossignol Experience 86 Ti Open Skis will deliver a responsive, damp and versatile experience for you each and every run.
