The Salomon Stance 102 strives to make the entire resort a playground for advanced and expert level skiers. Do you enjoy laying out a fast turn on icy groomers? Dropping into pillow lines? Finding the tightest and deepest trees? Well, the Stance 102 can work for you. A directional shape with tip and tail rocker points again to a versatile ski that wants the rider to put it through its paces. The widest ski in the Stance line, at 102mm underfoot this ski wants you to search for the hidden pow stashes only known to a select few. Poplar wood and a double laminate of titanal provides the Stance 102 with exceptional edge control and stellar stability. While this ski isn’t going to win any awards for lightest in category, Salomon’s C/FX technology utilizes carbon and flax fibers that not only reduce weight, but also increase maneuverability and give a feeling of dampness that would normally be provided by heavier materials. While the phrase “one ski quiver” gets tossed around a lot these days, it is not undeserved as manufacturing and materials continue to evolve, and the Stance 102 absolutely earns that praise. An advanced to expert skier will find themselves dreaming of exploring every last square inch of the resort after skiing the Stance 102.
