As the narrowest of waist widths in the Declivity line up, the 82-millimeter waisted Armada Declivity 82 Ti Skis are the most front side and carving oriented ski in this impressive line. It is fair to say that a lot of skiers tend to think of Armada as a freestyle company- strictly park and pipe focused. But in reality, they do make solid all-mountain and front side carving skis, case in point the Declivity 82 Ti. This ski just flat out loves to carve. Boasting a full sidewall, a generous sidecut and a relatively flat tail, you will have no problem laying these skis over and carving trenches on firm or hard-packed snow. Armada’s Articulated Titanal Banding technology allows the ski to build up lots of power through turn, giving the ski a very snappy and lively feel. The combination of the Declivity 82 Ti’s powerful chassis and shorter turn radius is something a lot of hard-charging skiers often look for when storms dry up and the skiing becomes hard and fast for front side cruising. Make no bones about it, this ski has some heft to its build and is torsionally stiff. All Mountain Rocker and a lightweight profile make it stand out amongst a lot of other “carving skis” as it provides you with the versatility to venture off of the groomed terrain into the bumps and trees as well. If you are an advanced skier who loves spending all of your time on the front side of the mountain, then the Armada Declivity 82 Ti Skis is your weapon of choice to carve up the mountain.
