The Alpha Insulator Shorts go a step further than conventional insulators, offering full length size zippers and open welt hand pockets so these can be used for warmups on the nordic trail, and slipped off before the race (or as you heat up). Articulated knees give you even more range of motion to enhance the already 2-way stretch of the fabric. Between the Recon AIR fabric and the 100% recycled Polartec® Alpha™ Insulation these shorts give you both warmth and breathability under a shell or over a pair of tights, for a truly functional and versatile insulator.
